- Learn about the student’s academic, social and emotional
needs
- Review academic and testing records
- Referrals for testing, tutoring, and other professional resources
- Secondary Schools Admission Test (SSAT) offered onsite
- Identifying the school that is the “right fit” for
your child’s academic strengths
and extracurricular interests
- Managing the Independent School admissions process - open houses,
information sessions, application preparation, parent and student interviews,
students visits and other related admissions requirements
- Assist with financial aid application process
- Advocate for families throughout the admissions process
- Provide additional follow-up after the admissions decisions are made
Other Services:
MEC Group can be contracted to provide an educational institution
with out-
placement services. In addition, our consultants are available to speak
to parent
groups about all aspects of the admission process. MEC Group also
provides
support and training on issues of diversity in the school community.
